David & Bonnie Konya invite you to share our historic home. The Country Hearth Bed and Breakfast is our second bed and breakfast. Our first, the Bayberry Inn, was opened in May, 2001 in Ocean City, New Jersey. There we welcome beachgoers to a seashore bed and breakfast. After five years of running a seashore inn, as well as working full time jobs, David working in water purification and Bonnie as a Radiologic Technologist, we decided to make a life change and become full time innkeepers. As we had spent most of our lives in Pennsylvania, we decided to return to our roots and purchase our second bed and breakfast in Lancaster county.

You will also meet the official greeter, Pearl, when you visit. She is a miniature schnauzer and believes that everyone is coming to visit her. She will greet you on arrival and at breakfast, but cannot sleep with you as she already has a spot reserved in our room.

You may also see one of our grown children from time to time. Kevin and Heather both live on their own but may show up at any time.
